Mika came to me when she was only 14 weeks old at a time when I was in deep despair over losing 1st my husband and then my lovely Golden Retreiver Sunny within 3 months of each other. Mika seemed to know that I was a very broken person at that time and she never left my side without keeping an eye on me..She knew when I was having a hard time and would lay her head in my lap to comfort me..She chose to stay at my side in all things..She brought me out of the depths of despair by insisting on walks and road trips..Nudging me until I got up..running to the car for a ride or down the river road and back until I caved and went with her..She is still my sidekick..I am no longer over my head in despair..but now look forward to my day..
