Pet's Story or Bio
Dixie was born and raised in Maryland. Somehow she ended up in the Howard County animal shelter and was adopted by the Macomb family in 2007. She and her family moved to Boise in 2000 where she lived a blissful dog's life for the next ten years. She wasn't much for long walks but if she had a comfy couch to stretch out on, she was in doggy heaven! Dixie lost an eye to melanoma but that didn't phase her a bit; perhaps her 23 hour naps became easier due to only having to close one eye rather than two!
