Summer Mae, a yellow lab trapped in a basset hound body, was adopted from IHS in March 2001, as a 1 year old.
She and her human mama, René, became a registered therapy dog team in 2004. They visited at St. Luke's in Boise, and numerous other facilities in the Treasure Valley.
Here she is gowned up as one of the first seven dogs in the country to be trained to stay in a pediatric ER room during medical procedures. This included once riding into a CAT scan machine to keep a wiggly 3 year old calm and still!
