My Pet's Story
Velvet came home with my former FIL in the wheel well of his service truck. They kept sending me her pics until I succumbed to her obvious charms. She’s a beautiful tortoise shell cat, but the tip of her tail is striped like a ginger tabby. A street cat from Durham; she lives to escape to the outdoors. I have to keep locks on the inside of my screened porch (aka: kitty enclosure) or she’ll push-open the doors and BAM! she’s out. She’s in the autumn of the years now; pushing 12y/o. She’s my shut-in buddy, my bed-warmer and my fav photo op subject. She’s one loved pussycat. So glad she found me.
