A little about me...
My name is Macky and I was rescued from a puppy mill. I lived in an unsheltered cage for 5 years along with 250 other Golden Retrievers in their cages. The owner could no longer afford to feed us so gave 25 dogs to Neshama Animal Rescue in exchange for dog food. I was the oldest. Puppy mill dogs have their own quirks since they are not socialized nor trained. I am afraid of loud noises, going through doorways, the car and new things. I don't know why I have all of these dead animals around me. They seem to be stuffed. And what am I supposed to do with a ball?! You threw it, so you can get it! I LOVE having my own hoomans to pet me ALL OF THE TIME! After living here for 3 months I can say that I am a very happy pup! I still don't like getting in and out of cars, but I want to be with my hoomans! t's scary to jump down 20"! Especially when you are 90 lbs! My hooman has to pick up one end at a time and put it in the car. Some day I may get to chase those deer!
