Pet's Story or Bio
Carmen (previously known as "Precious") was adopted from IAR 11 years ago when she was 5. Her owner had passed away, and she had been in foster care for about 7 months. Having just lost a tortie, I fell in love with her on the IAR website and arranged to meet her asap. She is now 16 and has been a wonderful companion, however, she doesn't take to strangers or loud noises. A bit overweight, her favorite pastimes are sleeping under her "blankie", basking in sunshine, and sitting on mom's lap. Like some torties, she has a feisty personality and won't hesitate to let you know if you do something she doesn't like. Thank you, IAR for the rescue!
