Pet's Story or BioOakalee is a stray, the son of another stray who had occasionally hung out around my house. We live across the road from a large row of tobacco barns, so we get a lot of migration from the feral colony that has base camp there. We have caught and brought many to IAR (<3). Oakalee got his name because he climbed a huge oak tree in our yard when he was teeny teeny tiny. After 3 long, cold, windy days of his pitiful mewing, my fiancé and I were finally able to coax him down. Ever since then he has been a 'friend' of my yard. We can't help but feed them when they wander over; we wouldn't dare see them starve. Oakalee has become a friendly little rascal and we're so happy to give him a 'home'. Thank you so much for everything IAR!!
