Pet's Story or Bio
Minnow (along with her brother Freddy) was adopted from IAR at 5 months old. Here she is looking very relaxed and demure, which is sort of the opposite of her personality. Minnow is a fierce warrior/hunter spirit who unfortunately is spooked by, well, everything. I am sorry for critters that enter our house, because they will not be leaving alive. Minnow is also the cat you will never see if you visit because she will be under the bed. But with us, she is the most affectionate and loving little soul. She snuggles for hours and loves belly rubs. She follows us around to perform the move we call the "roll and drag," where she flops down on the carpet and drags herself around by her claws until you rub her belly. She is militant about mealtimes and will stand on your chest and meow forcefully in your face to remind you that it's food time. Her favorite thing in the world is a collapsible tube, which doubles as plaything and hiding place. She is a delightful mix of shy and bold and we could not love her more.
