Priss and brother Leon were in Petco alone; all other cats were on an adoption outing, but they were too scared to go and hunkered in the back of the cage because there had been a dog vaccination event and lots of barking/commotion earlier in the day. We had lost our two 4 year old cats in a tragic way a month before, and these two were 4 years old. We had a love for Siamese cats from our cat even before the two we lost, and when my 6 year old son and I spied Priss, we knew! Picked up my husband from the airport an hour later, brought him to see her, and he concurred!! We got Leon because they had been together since young age - and wanted her to have company/them to stay together. The rest is history! Thank goodness…because he is quintessential cat, an amazing boy!, who, along with Priss, has tremendously helped us and my brother-in-law through loss, grief, and the pandemic!! We love them!
