When they cross the bridge they take not only a piece but a massive chunk of your heart. Yet, to feel the depth of that loss reflects the immense amount of love shared. From 6 months young to a beautiful 14.5years, we were the lucky ones.

Max was there for it all: our first pet as high school sweethearts moving out together, his first ever dog, University and snuggling on the couch while late-night studying (and partying 😉), our first home, marriage, and our two babies. The best snuggler, fetch extrordinaire, countless hiking, camping and swimming adventures- even as ice floated alongside. Nothing stopped him from living his best joyful and full of love life.

We called him “Max-a million dollar bills,” but he was worth far more- invaluable and irreplaceable.

I hope someone is throwing your favorite ball up there, infinitely.
