Comet was adopted from VHS through the Cardio for Canines program in February 2022. He had heartworms when we got him, but he definitely didn’t let it ruin his fun! He went through treatment and, as of 10-13-22, he is officially heartworm free!! Comet enjoys going to daycare, wearing bandanas, and chasing balls (but not bringing them back). He’s a goofy boy who always wants to be the center of attention. We want to raise awareness of the dangers of heartworms.
