My Story
I was at the shelter for the second time, and had been there for about 6 weeks. I was getting worried that no one would ever come and take me home. Then one day, a lady came to my pen with a leash and said "Hi Lucy, do you want to meet me and my mom?" Of course I did, but I tried to behave well as she put the leash around my neck and shut the door of my pen. Then I just couldn't help it anymore and started to bounce on my Boxer legs. The nice lady took me for a little walk around the grounds of the Humane Society and her nice mom petted me and talked to me. I liked them a lot, but then I like pretty much everyone. Except the mailman. The nice lady took my back inside and talked to the lady at the desk for a minute, then took me back to my pen. I was disappointed, but used to this, and I went back in. I watched her leave and tried not to be too sad. I was sitting there wondering when someone else would come see me, and then she came back in. She smiled at me and came back to my pen and said 'hi sweetie, do you want to come home with us?" Of course I did, I could barely contain myself! This time she put a leash she had brought on me, and I walked out of the shelter by her side- and I've been there ever since.

Last Christmas time Mom kept telling me about someone called BonBon, and then about The BonBons. I wasn't sure what she was talking about, but sometimes she would watch things on the computer and ask me if I heard the puppies talking? I just chewed on my new toys. Then she would watch the computer and get really sad, so I would snuggle on her lap. Then she got happy again and said something about miracle puppies. Still not sure what that was about. Now every once and awhile she tries to show my something about Sawyer and Finn, but I've never smelled them so I'm not sure what their story is. It makes her happy to talk about them though, and if she's happy, I'm happy.

My favorite pastime is
Playing outside in my yard.

The best thing anyone's ever done for me is
Mama brought me home from the scary shelter.

Mama and grampy, and all my toys.

The naughtiest thing I've ever done is
I chewed one of mama's shoes the other day because I was mad I had to stay home alone.

I've done too many!

The dog park! Grampy takes me almost every day since he retired.
