My Story
Been married for 34 years and I am a Mom to three labs, one cat, two grown daughters and a grandma of one. I have always had some dog or animal in my life. My grandmother used to tell me that I should have been a vet because I love any kind of animal. Family means everything to me, whether that includes my human family or my furry family. My love for animals has been inherited by my girls and granddaughter. I don't understand how someone can cause harm to children or animals, and it saddens me when I read stories about that. I wish I could save them all!

My favorite pastime is
Being with my family, reading, spending the weekend doing some activity with my dogs and hubby, and gardening.

The best thing anyone's ever done for me is
Allowing me to help out at a local lab rescue and giving me the opportunity to rescue two labs.

I can't live without
My family - both human and animal.

The naughtiest thing I've ever done is
Before I was married, still lived at home and when I was in high school, I snuck out of the house to meet up with an old boyfriend. I should have taken my dog with me, because she was the one that busted me with her whining. When I got back home, my mom was up looking for me and when she asked where I was at I told her that I had a lot on my mind and I couldn't sleep so I went in the woods in the back of our house!!!

The funniest thing I've ever done is
Was going out with another couple to a local bar and we walked through a yard where, unbeknownst to us, had a huge dog in it and when we realized the dog was chasing us, we had to run like heck to escape it!

My favorite place to go is
Either to San Diego, CA to visit my youngest daughter who is in the Navy and lives there, or to Suffolk, VA to visit my oldest daughter and granddaughter.

I'm completely obsessed with
I just want everyone to be happy and get along. If I know someone is arguing with someone else, I just my hardest to get them to not be mad at each other anymore.
