My Story
my name is Shannon Bain and knight is my service dog Who is 2 1/2 y/IV and is going to be 3 y/o on November 4 and he was also provided by canine companions for Independence I have knight because I have a rare autoimmune disease called oms and because of this I was diagnosed with cancer at 11 months of age and I had a brain injury From OMS. Because of all this I'm very bad on balance sometimes and I have very poor muscle grip in my hands and my eyes dance sometimes and I slur speech sometimes. I get infusions called IV IG every 8 weeks. Knight helps me with retrieving items picking up items opening drawers and doors and closing drawers and doors and I also have muscle spasms so when the muscle spasms occur knight knows to drop whatever he's doing and come and cuddle and snuggle with me until they subside and he also helps me be more social and helps me to also make some friends I never had without knight none of this would've been possible I am truly more independent with him then without him

My favorite pastime is
Playing with Knight. Training aknight on obedience, tricks and agility.

The best thing anyone's ever done for me is
Help me get my service dog

I love to go do Pet stores with knight and buying toys and treats and spoil him to death
