My Story
Bonnie is a Life is Labs rescue; she was plucked from a life and death situation by Drew Stanley on the eve of Thanksgiving, 2012. She had two nursing puppies, and because there was no room to board Bonnie and her boys--it being a holiday--I took her for the weekend and fell in love. Bonnie's story, however, was never destined to be simple: she had advanced HW disease and heart failure. Kristie and Drew nursed her back to health, and in May 2015 I became her permanent foster. She loved our farm, our dogs, cats and horses: she was never anything but a perfect, sweet, loving, silly girl. She was put to sleep in May 2016 because she had developed an aggressive cancer. Always in our hearts!
