My Story
Arwin and Roman are litter mates. Our family adopted Roman (changed from his given name Gandalf of the wizard from Lord of the Rings) in March 2015 from PAWS Atlanta as a puppy. He played ball with us all the time, always being the best snuggle buddy. In March 2016, a friend was volunteering at PAWS and told us that she was walking a dog that looked exactly like Roman and loved tennis balls as much as he did. The next day, we went to PAWS and found out that Arwin (named after the elf Arwen from Lord of the Rings) was actually Roman's sister; that she was adopted as a puppy, and then returned at 6 months old for having "too much energy" and had been living at the shelter since. As you can tell already, we adopted Arwin that day and kept her name the same because it is how we found Roman's sister, brought family back together and made our family one pup bigger. Now, Roman and Arwin love to play ball together all the time, go on adventures and snuggle with us and each other. We have the two best snuggle buddies around.

My favorite pastime is
Playing fetch. Playing ball is our absolute favorite. We can play for hours on end and when my parents don't want to play anymore, we like to play keep away and try to sneak the ball inside without my parents knowing.

The best thing anyone's ever done for me is
Adopt us both! We are so happy to be reunited and play together all the time. Especially now that when my parents go to work, I get to play with my best friend all day.

I can't live without
Morning snuggles. Every morning, we like to wake our parents up and snuggle. After snuggling, our parents are ready to play ball.

The naughtiest thing I've ever done is
Jump the backyard fence and go on adventures in the neighborhood. We always come back though.

The funniest thing I've ever done is
Roman: Pee on my sister's head. When Arwin is sniffing and exploring, Roman likes to mark his territory right where she is.

Arwin: Because I lived in the shelter for a while, it took me a while to learn to play well...now I play very well, and become "night fury." At about 7 every night, I have sudden bursts of energy where I bounce off of all the furniture in the house and pounce on Roman.

My favorite place to go is
The river. We love swimming, hiking and exploring all around the river. We especially love making friends with the other animals and people at the river.

I'm completely obsessed with
Tennis balls. Obviously, because fetch is our favorite.
