Your Pet's Unique Traits
Kookie Monster picked me when I went to visit the Kauai Humane Society looking for a companion. He was THE largest kitty I have ever had weighing in his prime a heafty 22 pounds. He loved the outdoors. Prefered to sit upright in a chair like a human. Walked and tethered on a lead. Always greeted me when I opened the door on my return home. His head was almost the size of mine and he stood on all 4's to my knees. He loved watching me cook by lying ontop of the refrigerator. He despised dogs and was known to ride them if they dared to enter our yard. He was good at taking away a headache by lying ontop of my head as I would laydown to rest and ease the pain. He didn't care for men but loved women. He was my guardian. He was the best!

Your Pet's Story or Bio
Kookie Monster found me as I was sitting in the Cat Room at the Kauai Humane Society in May 2006. At just 6 months he was already a VERY large kitty. He jumped up by my side and started meowing his story to me. Sadly I had to leave him there that day, but could not stop thinking about him. I went back the next day to adopt him as he touched my heart. I found out that he had been adopted two other times in his short life and brought back to KHS. This time was for real. Kookie was one of the BEST kitties to ever be in my life. He had a good life without a worry. Sadly he passed in Sept 2019 of Kidney Disease. Kookie Monster will always be in my heart and forever loved. RIA
