Zenji is a rare red-dog mix of rainbows, smiles and stardust with a sweet-as-honey heart whose tail even features a Fibonacci phi spiral, creating high vibes wherever he ventures!

Although in his alert majestic mode for this golden-boy sunset photo, Zenji’s most often seen sweetly smiling and spreading aloha as he aspires to be of service with keiki and kūpuna — healing with his fur-ever human in Hāʻena & beyond!

It's only been two weeks since adoption, yet as quite the curious chap, he's already exhibiting high IQ & EQ, responding to care, commands, sound waves and sharing his curing cuteness with the community.

He totally zens out with the vibes of his 432 Hz tuning fork, meditates daily and Loves psytrance music.

Recently, he had the pleasure of posing as the poster boy for the KHS adoption drive, intending to continue his kuleana of cultivating Lovingkindness across Kauaʻi!

Your Pet's Story or Bio
Aloha, my name is Zenji and I emerged from the red dirt, hence my ruddy coat being the color of Kauaʻi! I was discovered deep in the wild and received loads of compassionate care by the fantastic folks of Kauaʻi Humane Society before being adopted.

After a meet-cute-Love-at-first-sniff moment with my human in June 2025, I now call the haven of Hāʻena my home. As twin-flame fire signs, we both Love adventures, stargazing and being out in the ʻāina radiating rainbows.

During our first week together as an assistance animal in training, I even helped my human hike all the way to the Hanakāpīʻai Stream on King Kamehameha Day — barefoot both ways!

My name means good, kind, harmonious, friendly, fortunate and all the amazing things, just like «aloha»!
