Your Pet's Unique Traits
Ubu is a world class lover and snuggler. Since the day we brought her home she strives for the most skin to skin contact possible with everyone she meets. She has become an emotional support dog at the local alternative high school that serves at risk youth.
Ernie, her older brother, is incredibly patient as the recipient of so much love. He is also incredibly skilled at scoring treats from everyone.

Your Pet's Story or Bio
Ernie was found in a dumpster in New Mexico when he was 3 days old. We adopted him at 8 weeks and have loved him ever since. We call him our "New Mexican Brown Dog".
We unexpectedly adopted Ubu from KHS in 2021 on a vacation. We had just lost our older dog and knew we wanted to rescue another four-legged friend. After our flight home we started calling her the "Flyin' Hawaiin". She was supposed to be 30ish lbs, but has grown to 70 lbs (and yes, she still lies on her brother like that).
Both of our doogos are kind and gentle with our 3 year old daughter, love hiking in the mountains, chasing critters and lounging in the sun.
We are so grateful to the amazing shelters and rescues out there for their hard work!
