Remy is one-of-a-kind, not just because of her striking scruffy looks, but because of the joyful spirit she brings wherever she goes. Her big, expressive ears seem to have a personality of their own, always perked up and listening, they perfectly reflect her curiosity and enthusiasm for life. Whether she's running along a sandy beach or exploring a trail, Remy is in her element outdoors. Remy is a truly special soul, the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart and makes every moment feel a little more magical.

Your Pet's Story or Bio
Remy was adopted from the NOAH Center in Stanwood WA in 2018, having been transferred there from the Kauai Humane Society. I had been looking for a younger dog and when I met her, it was love at first sight. In 2019, we visited the Kauai Humane Society to see if we could learn more about her past. We discovered she was picked up near the kennels in Kokee State Park and was most likely abandoned or a hunting dog that got separated from the rest of the pack.

When Remy first arrived, she was timid but trusting. Throughout these past years, she has only continued to gain confidence and blossom into the fearless, fun loving girl she is today.
