Your Pet's Unique Traits
I chose my adopted family, who were visiting the Island of Kauai in September of 2011. I was featured as Kauai Humane Society's Pet of the week and called "Babe". My adoptive family gave me my Hawaiian name, "Keiki". My first adventure was flying from Kauai all the way to Virginia. Some years later we drove across the US to Nevada and settled into a nice house, with lots of windows where I can lounge in the sun. I am 16 years old now living a wonderful life with a sister cat who was adpoted here in the states. I am healthy, happy, and loved beyond my wildest dreams.

Your Pet's Story or Bio
I was taken to the Kauai Humane Society when I was about 2 yrs old, where I was living when Gary & Catherine came to visit. I don't know much about my early life, but I was very timid and hesitant to be held or petted, even though I was craving affection. I rubbed up against Catherine in my most adorable manner, and it was pure magic. They adopted me on the spot! I didn't know my travels would take me so far, but it was worth it. I found a home that is warm and sunny, with an attentive, loving family. They adopted a kitten shortly after me, so I have a little sister to cuddle with. I am a sweet tempered, affectionate, fur wrapped bundle of love.
