Zadee is extremely loyal and loving. She enjoys being outside, whether it’s going to the lake in the summer or playing in the snow in the winter. Even at 15 years old, she still loves to sprint when she gets excited! She goes everywhere with her mom, including to work, and is a caring helper to her dog and cat siblings. She stays by everyone’s side when they need support and brings a steady, loving presence to every environment. Zadee is unique not only in her looks but also in her devoted, present, and deeply loving nature.

Your Pet's Story or Bio
I first met Zadee at the Kauai Humane Society in 2013, on the day we were heading home to Chicago. She was in the last cage at the end of the corridor, and when we approached, she jumped up and looked me straight in the eyes with a huge smile. I fell in love with her instantly. After we returned home, I kept checking the shelter’s website for updates. About a month later, I found out she had been transferred to a shelter in California. I couldn’t stop thinking about her, so I called that shelter, and the very next morning I flew to California, adopted her, and brought her back to Chicago the same day. Ever since, we’ve celebrated that special day every year as her birthday. ❤️
