Rules

Photo Submissions:

Photos must be taken with Pennsylvania’s Elk Country and must include an elk in the image.
Photos must not portray any unsafe or illegal actions in accordance with the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s ELK Smart Program.
Photos must be high resolution (3650 pixels x 2740 pixels is preferred for high definition printing purposes).
Cell Phone Pictures are typically not acceptable due to resolution and pixel size.
Photos cannot contain any recognizable people i.e. close up or front facing images
We cannot accept heavily edited photos, or any copyrighted/ watermarked photos.
Photos must be submitted within the appropriate category: Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall
Only one photo per person can be submitted per category listed above.
Once entered, photos become the property of the Keystone Elk Country Alliance to be used for print, media, and marketing purposes.
Staff & Board Members of the Keystone Elk Country Alliance NOT are permitted to submit photos for contest.
If for any reason a photo is not approved for the photo contest due to not abiding to the rules set forth for the contest, submission fees will not be refunded.
Please allow up to 12 hours after photo has been submitted for it to appear in the Photo Contest. Admin have to approve photos prior to them appearing on site.
All entry submission and voting ends at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Voting:

Online votes for photo entries can be cast as soon as the photo has been submitted and must be submitted before 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Voting ends promptly at posted end time and the contest will automatically close. At that point, no additional votes may be cast.

When voting, remember to 'refresh' your web browser to see the most up-to-date vote count on images.

Each vote costs $1, and there is no limit to the number of votes one may cast for the duration of the contest. You must purchase a minimum of five votes at a time for a minimum charge of $5.

KECA will take the #1 highest voted on photo and use that as the cover image of the calendar as well as the feature photo on the Benezette Wines label and the top 3 photos remaining in each category (Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall) will be selected for the calendar.
