Meet Cliff! Cliff was found as FIV positive stray out on Hwy 50.
He suffered from stomatitis…a chronic inflammation of the mouth and gums.
This condition causes pain when they eat and results in copious drooling. Because of the pain, he wasn’t playing nicely with the other kitties in the house and had to be sequestered in his own bedroom.
Ultimately, Cliff went to UW Madison and underwent a full mouth teeth extraction.
Now, stomatitis free, this guy never stops purring and gets along just fine with all others in the household.

Now, he spends his days napping in the sun and evenings napping on his Mom. He is equipped with a special radar..it detects when Mom goes horizontal on the couch and he is there within minutes….thereby thwarting the efforts of other felines in the house for Mom’s attention.

He is a constant reminder to never give up!
