Sonia came to Kindred Kitties in 2015 when she was trapped out by the interstate while trying to trap a nursing mama cat. She was going to be a TNR kitty (trap-neuter-release) but during recovery we realized she was very shy but sweet. After several months of socialization, she was adopted but a short time later ended up at the humane society. Kindred Kitties was contacted to take her back and as her original foster I took her to foster again and ended up adopting her because she fit in so well in our home and we couldn't put her through another move. She has turned into a sweet lap kitty who even comes out for company and loves to play. Just goes to show how rewarding taking a chance on a shy kitty can be.
