Pet's Story or Bio
When Buddy, my nine pound miniature poodle, was 6 months old, I was walking him in Southport Park. A pack of three pit bulls came running out of the bushes and one of them picked Buddy up in his mouth. I grabbed the pit bull's jaw and forced it open and buddy fell out and ran for his life. The dog attacked me and broke my arm in two places and bit open my check while I tried to defend myself.

The police and and ambulance came and Buddy who was running around loose followed me to the ambulance. A kind police officer put Buddy in her car and brought him to the hospital where my grandson took him home. I had emergency surgery. Buddy didn't have a scratch on him.

I am so glad that I was able to save Buddy. He is a gentle, loving and smart dog who will obey commands like sit, down, dance, and come. He is not afraid of other dogs. I am terrified of large dogs running loose and I hope this never happens to anyone else.
