Dexter the Therapy Cat

Dexter became a therapy cat in the fall of 2008 so I believe he has been to every Wagfest since 2009, minus Covid year. He gets comments like, “He is a cat and this is a dog event. “ Our reply is that, “He has a tail so he qualifies, since it is “Wagfest.”

Dexter volunteers at many things, including a reading program at Elmgrove Library, hospice visits and college campus de-stressing events. I truly believe he is the longest living Wagfest attendee with at least 12 visits to Wagfest (he is 16) and that is why he should be king of this years event.

Look for him this year in his mint green stroller and green collar, being more calm than the dogs.
