Meet Maverick, the Elder Statesman of the Pack
At 10 years old, Maverick has earned his title as the wise and gentle elder of the household. While he’s perfectly content to lounge indoors, his favorite pastime is soaking up the sunshine in the backyard — his personal kingdom.

As an alum of Kitsap Humane Society he is teaching our recent adoption, Frankie Fallon, under his wing, showing him the ropes with calm guidance and quiet confidence. He’s also his little sister Kneesa’s hero, helping her find courage when the world feels a bit too big.

With a heart as golden as the sun he loves to nap under, Maverick reminds us every day that age brings not just wisdom, but warmth, love, and the best kind of companionship.
