My coworker found this little guy shivering and wimpering in her car engine early one morning. Little Jaffar was unable to open his eyes due to infection. He was weak and having trouble breathing. My coworker brought him to one of the best animal hospitals she knew of, desperate to find help. I saw that she posted about this incident on Facebook and immediately contacted her to find out more about the kitten and how he was doing. Jaffar suffered from anemia, dehydration, and an upper respiratory infection, and was under IV and intensive care for three days. My husband and I visited Jaffar as soon as it was permitted, and we brought him home to be taken care of. He came with eye drops and antibiotics. At first Jaffar was very weak and scared, but began to eat and drink a lot and started to gain energy. Within a day he was almost fully recovered, and was the most energetic, happy, and playful little baby. Jaffar is absolutely adorable, and he is adored and loved beyond words. His new kitty siblings, Aladdin and Jasmine, watch over him and play with him all day. Jaffar enjoys hopping around, munching on soft treats, and especially loves to play with his toy skunk. He is the perfect little fella and he completes our little family!
