Tell us your Rescue Story
Sweet pea was rescued from a small feral cat colony with her 4 litter mates. She was coved in fleas and had a bad case of mange. She was also missing one of her legs. All of the kittens were emaciated and dehydrated. We knew we had to step in and rescue these babies. At first Sweet pea was terrified but with some good food and lots of love she soon realized we were not big scary monsters. A nice family saw Sweet peas story on Facebook and sent me a message, she wanted to adopt Sweet pea but Sweet pea was in California and the family lived in Texas. The family made the decision that Sweet pea was the one for them and they flew from Texas to California to get their girl. Sweet pea is very happy in her new home and runs around the house like a race car. Sweet pea is proof that love can conquer all.
