Tell us your Kitten Rescue Story
We are a family that already had 1 dog and 2 cats and we weren't looking for more. A year ago, I ran to the store to get MORE treats, and as I rushed past Talia's cage, she swiped at me with her paw like she was trying to catch a fish. She reeled me in. Before I knew it, I was holding her, and before we all knew it, she was running our house, eating everybody's food, sitting on the dog, and kissing our faces with her tongue that she also likes to stick out. Outdoors she wears a harness, indoors she wears red dresses and likes to sit in the bathtub. Her favorite food is potato chips (she doesn't get them very often, but she has been known to open the cupboard, knock down the bag, and surgically cut an incision large enough to snack out of). This is a fun coincidence because when she picked me to adopt her, she somehow knew that I was the Vice President of a snack company and I have an endless supply of free chips coming in and out of the house. We love The Squirl more than anything and we are so grateful to Kitten Rescue for letting us adopt her.
