Tell us your Kitten Rescue Story
I have always looked for cats live and in person. The last time I did that was 13 years ago. Times have changed. Now we enter the world of online cat dating.
And that is where our story begins.
We were online dating for our next feline companion when Michael saw Lady Batman. Her crazy yellow eyes and feisty disposition drew her immediately to our attention. After a couple of months thinking it over we looked up her profile again and lo and behold she was still interested in meeting new people! A stroke of luck!
We set up a time and met her at Centinela Feed Store and it turned out that she had a plus one. Michael and I went on a walk through the store to discuss the possibility of adopting two cats when a blink from Arnold's big eyes convinced us. We had to bring them both home.
Arnold is the resident cool cat. He is very tall and highly trainable. We believe he was probably a relief pitcher in the Major Leagues in a former life. Arnold now spends most his day upside down straight chillin'.
Lady Batman is tiny and is our resident seat thief. If you get up to go get a glass of water she will come out of nowhere and sit in your spot. When you confront her she may look at you surprised as if to say: "I've been here all night. Where have you been??" She is also our resident beautician, hoarder, drooler and perpetual snuggler. Needless to say she's a very busy Lady.
Arnold and Lady Batman couldn't be more of an odd couple and we couldn't be happier with these two. Sister and Brother from another mother.
