Tell us your Kitten Rescue Story
I met Lola when went to see a client in Lynwood, on Wednesday last week. Lola was in the office, hanging with a little Pekinese dog who was sharing her food and water with Lola.

The employees told me that this kitten just walked in one day and would not leave, she had only been there maybe since Monday. They told me the first day she only drank water, then the second day began to share the dog's food. They told me that the kitty would have to go to the pound, but I begged them to let kitty stay until I could find a home for her, and they promised to let me know before they turned her over to the pound.

We have two rescue cats, one from Kitten Rescue and so I hoped that Kitten Rescue could help Lola as we rent and cannot have more than our two cats. But I worried and fretted over Lola after I met her

I only saw Lola walking around a little that day (a Wednesday) and for a few seconds when I came to pick her up Friday because the client was insisting that Lola go to the pound. I just could not let this kitty be taken to the pound, so my husband and I drove back to Lynwood to rescue this kitty. I had spent the two days since Wednesday trying to find her a temporary or permanent home. I was very worried. I arranged for boarding at the Vet where I was taking her to be tested and examined, and hoped to find a home.

My husband and I were thrilled when we heard that Kitten Rescue had a foster for her. When we got to the vet I was so happy to know that we had found a foster for Lola and she would be taken care of by the wonderful staff at the vet.

She rode in a soft sided cat carrier in my lap so she was curled up purring and generally being an angel kitty for the ride from Lynwood to the vet.

She was so sweet, but very much skin and bones when I brought her in, but she received care and food at the vet and she was very happy to be picked up by her foster and taken to her foster home.

My husband Steve and I fell in love with her at first sight and we are so happy for Kitten Rescue and know that Lola will find a forever home through Kitten Rescue.

She is one of the sweetest kitties I've ever met.
