Freckles and Spud were rescued one hot August morning after being left in a box on a corner with their brother and sister. The others were adopted by loving families the next day, and we were lucky enough to keep Freckles and Spud. Last summer when I broke my arm, Freckles watched over me every night. We are the fortunate ones!
