This Harley Davidson was designed to evoke the spirit of the late 1940s Harley Davidson. The springer front fork was last used on the 1949 Harley Davidson before the introduction of the telescoping forks that is standard today. The leather police style seat and the duel fishtail exhaust pipes add to the nostalgic style. The transmission cover at the bottom center has my fathers WWII squadron insignia etched in the metal, honoring his service as a navigator in the 319th Sq., 90th Bomb Group, 5th Air Force. The Jolly Rogers group flew B-24 Liberators in the Pacific Theater.
