Pet's Story
I met Bridget (then Shiloh) at Kritter Kamp three days after losing Riley, my previous Kritter Kamp dog, to a congenital liver disease. I was heart sick and Betty picked Bridget out for me. Said she was the closest to Riley's temperament. I fell in love with her right away.

She appears to be a Pom/chi mix, around 3 years old. She had a litter prior to my adopting her. Three of the pups didn't live but I'm told she nursed the surviving one, Chica, and I adopted Bridget after Chica was adopted.

She was terrified the first night with me and I showed her the house, the doggy door, her bowls, etc. I went to bed and shortly after she came to bed. When we woke up in the morning she was curled up next to me and we've been close ever since.

She loves long walks, the dog park, car rides, her 'cousin dogs' in Yuba City, play dates, squeaky toys, and treats.

Two months ago I had surgery on my knee and had to stay in bed for a week with the leg elevated. She stayed right next to me. Didn't want to walk with anyone else. She was so sweet.

She is an amazing little dog who lives to please, and enjoys life every day.

I will always miss Riley, but I believe she is Bridget's guardian angel.
