Penny came to me in January of this year after spending her first 3 years in an apartment with a woman with limited mobility. Penny had not been walked or socialized. When this woman's health situation worsened, I was able to purchase Penny from her. Penny is loving her new life! She gets so excited even after several months, whenever I say let's go outside or for a walk. She loves interacting with her new doggie friends. The people in my community have taken to her and Penny loves her treats and belly rubs from them. Considering she had not been trained she has adjusted well to her new routines. She is the sweetest little girl. She now has a front and back yard and it is her favourite thing to be out there. Chasing squirrels and bunnies if she can. It took her a while to feel this was her home and to know she was not going to be leaving. She stays by my side and it is difficult for us both when I do have to leave her at home for a bit. Lovely to be greeted though with kisses and such excitement whenever I return home. Penny has come so far in these few months that it is a pure pleasure to have her in my life. So glad to see her enjoying herself and being happy. I'd love to see her being recognized as she is so cute and precious.
