Once upon a time (okay, just a few months ago), Hopscotch arrived at the Humane Society with a badly broken leg and a big need for help. The shelter launched an urgent appeal to fund her surgery; and thanks to this amazing community, it worked.

Because of your generosity, Hopscotch got to keep her leg, got her sparkle back, and now has a metal plate with 7 screws holding it all together. She’s officially part robot cat—and fully fabulous.

After weeks of strict bedrest (she was not a fan), she’s now healed and making up for lost time with daily zoomies, dramatic leaps, and loud opinions. She’s a proud Humane Society alum, an orange girl (rare and legendary!), and she’s living her sparkly, unhinged best life.

Now Hopscotch wants to give back. She’s entered the pet calendar contest with a goal of raising $1500 to help other animals get the surgeries they need—just like she did.
