Pet's Story or Bio
We weren’t planning to get a third dog. Frankie came to us as a foster from the humane society, dropped off with her dad and missing one eye. The plan was simple: give her a safe place to land until she found her forever home. But, as you can probably guess… she never left.

From the moment she arrived, Frankie fit into our home like she’d always been part of the crew. Our two dogs accepted her immediately, likely because she was the size of a cat and barely made a sound. But the real twist? Frankie didn’t act like a dog. At all. She acted like a cat. She learned everything from our cats—how to move quietly through the house, nap in sunbeams, clean her face with tiny paw licks, and even perch on windowsills. Her favorite thing was curling up beside them like a weird honorary feline.

It wasn’t long before she had us completely wrapped around her one-eyed little paw. She followed us from room to room, slept in our beds, and gave the softest, sweetest cuddles. Her resilience, her weird and wonderful personality, and her perfect fit with our fur family made it impossible to imagine life without her.

So, we made it official: we adopted Frankie. She’s no longer just the one-eyed foster pup who arrived shy and small—she’s part of our pack now, forever and always. A cat-sized dog with a cat’s soul and a giant heart.
