Meet Nyla: The Whirlwind Pitsky Princess
At just a year and a half old, Nyla is a force of nature wrapped in fur—a beautiful, wild-hearted pitsky (pitbull/husky mix) with a personality as big as her zoomies. Fueled by endless energy and an even bigger craving for attention, Nyla has mastered the art of demanding love. If you're not petting her fast enough, she’ll gently (but insistently) hook your hand or wrist with her paw and pull it toward her chest—because affection isn’t optional, it’s mandatory. Curious to a fault, Nyla believes every room, bag, and laundry basket holds a new adventure. Her favorite forbidden treasures? Underwear (yum) and books (the more important, the tastier). She’s not sorry. She hates being left alone—because obviously, the party should never happen without her. But when she’s outside, especially in a wide open field, she’s in her element. There, she’ll run free for hours, zooming like a rocket on paws, her tongue lolling and tail flying behind her like a victory flag.
Despite her rough-and-tumble side, Nyla has a soft spot for family—even if they don’t always return the favor. Her latest mission is to win over her grandpa’s cats, who are clearly not on board with her enthusiastic attempts at friendship. But that doesn’t stop her from trying. Every. Single. Time. And if you so much as think about standing up from the couch, don’t be surprised to return and find your spot stolen—claimed by a warm, smug, slightly snoring Nyla.
