Pet's Story or Bio
A Toronto Pet Rescue cat, adopted at age 2 late in 2019, who significantly helped us through the pandemic lockdown and became a much treasured family member. She is not a "lap cat" - we don't know about her early history, she is very gentle and shy, but became very vocal and social within 2 years staying with us, wanting to sit or sleep next to us, rubbing against us but not be on our lap, often sitting at a short distance on the same sofa/chair or in the same room. She has trained us very well to respond to her asks for treats- even in the middle of the night :-)
We don't mind, we just love her. Her name is Cleopatra (Cleo) Sunfire, but we often call her "Kitty". But her additional name is "Misses-miaows-a-lot"- she's a very, very vocal cat and we communicate with her every day, all day. Even with strangers coming to our house she is very gentle and curious and vocal. She loves to watch what we call "Catflix" - looking out onto our garden with birds and squirrels and other wildlife.
