Hi there, new friend! I’m Fil, a rescue pup from a very busy shelter in Mexico. I was left at the shelter at just ten weeks, but was raised by some really nice humans and lived with lots of dogs. Then, I came to Canada in the spring of 2025 to live in a new foster home.

I’m a bit of a social butterfly, so once I settled in, I quickly began making friends with every neighbour and friendly pup I could!

In just a few weeks, my foster family decided to adopt me. They call it a “foster fail”, but I think it’s a pretty big win! My human parents always say they're lucky to have me and call me "the best boy". Plus, I have all of their human friends and dog friends to hang out with!

Now I run around the park, play with my friends, or go on new adventures all the time. And every day, I say hi to neighbours in my building or on my street with a wagging tail. I just love to give everyone kisses!

Thanks for helping me help other animals find their forever families too!

PS. My name is short for "Filete", which I was given when I arrived to the shelter in Mexico. It commonly means precious, "prized cutie" or "the best".
