Buck is a 3yo Mini Australian Labradoodle. Named after Buckbeak from Harry Potter. Fun fact he has no Australian Shepherd in him! The breed came out of Australia (thus the name) and consists of Lab, Poodle, Spaniel (English Cocker, American Cocker, and Irish Water), and Curly Coat Retriever. They were bred to be highly intelligent guide dogs. Buck definitely lives up to that aspiration. He is super smart, insanely sweet, patient, and a crazy goof. He loves being with my nephew, and even lets him hang onto his beard hair without fuss. And the food he gets to scrounge from around him doesnt hurt! His favourite pass times include playing with his sister, cuddles, getting ear rubs (he grumbles when they are extra good), dock diving, and drive by kissing my toes (which I hate!). When we first got him, he was jet black and tan. But he wanted to be a distinguished gentleman and went pepper grey by the age of 2. Thankfully, he managed to keep his incredible eyebrows, which he would love to show off in the 2027 calendar. Please vote for him so he can achieve his goal!
