The Eyes have it:

There is something about those eyes always curious. Pepper was originally named Leila when we adopted her from the Kitchener Waterloo Human Society. I had recently put my previous cat down as he had become very ill and I was reluctant to get another cat at this time especially a kitten. I have not had a kitten for a very long time. But Pepper made up my mind for me, when I saw her. She was brought to the shelter the very day I put my other cat down. Pepper has two modes, hyper drive and sleep. When she is awake no one is allowed to sleep. No one needs an alarm clock in this house. Never fails, 7am she is sitting on the bed right beside my head, She will either paw at my face or walk on my head. She refuses to be ignored. She also likes to sit outside with me and has adapted to harness and leash quite easily.
