We adopted Twiggy from Iredell county animal services on 10/29/2020. We weren’t looking for another dog because we had recently lost both of ours 6 months apart and we were heartbroken . I was dropping off some donations and spotted her. When they let her out of the kennel she ran straight to my arms and hugged me!- She immediately stole our hearts! Twiggy fit into our lives perfectly! I have always said you never find the perfect dog- they find you when the time is right and this is especially true with our girl! I don’t know who needed who more but Twiggy really helped heal our 2 broken hearts. She is smart, sassy, bouncy, silly, and loves to snuggle! We love our “TwiggyLou”.
