Chevy was at LKN Humane when I first met her while volunteering there. She had given birth to some pups and they had all been adopted out. Chevy was adopted once but was returned to the shelter because she broke out of her crate. When LKN Humane closed for COVID in March of 2020 Chevy came home with me as a foster. I just couldn't say no to that sweet face! After a month of being my shadow while I worked from home, I knew I couldn't let her go back to the shelter. No way I could give up all her sweet snuggles! I adopted her in April 2020. She still struggles with separation anxiety, but is gradually learning some independence. She has no concept of personal space and thinks she is a lapdog. She loves her walks, chasing rabbits, and eating acorns.
