Emma is from the Animal House Shelter in Huntley IL. She is a 9 month old lab mix (identified as a catahoola when we adopted her). Her mother was taken in as a stray and her litter was named after famous actors. We decided to keep her name because Emma was easy for our toddler to learn and who doesn't love Hermione? She has a human best friend (our toddler) and a dog best friend (ours neighbor's golden doodle) she has been an integral part of mending our broken hearts from the loss of our 12 yr old Husky, Macee, to cancer last year.
