At the age of two, Kona came to live with Angella and her family when her previous owner could no longer care for her.

As time went on, it was clear that Kona’s friendly and gentle manner immediately connected her to anyone she met. Her calm demeanor allowed Angella to bring her to functions that other dogs might not tolerate.

Angella felt Kona would be the perfect therapy dog and Kona’s Healing Paws was born. She is currently in training to be a First Responder & Military therapy dog.
