Copper was brought up to IN from TX by Lake Shore Paws around Thanksgiving in 2019. Our wonderful dog Rowdy had passed away a few months before and we were finally ready to get our other dog a companion. So, the day after Thanksgiving, we visited LSP and in the very last room was sweet six month old "Russell". We brought our pup Lolly to meet him and took him home that day. His beautiful color and the movie The Fox and the Hound led our daughter to suggest the name Copper. That fits our kind and happy boy perfectly. He has whimsical eyes and a beautiful plume for a tail. He is part Australian and German Shepherd with a few other breeds mixed in. He is super smart and loving. Our lives would be boring without him!
