Tia is an 8yr old rescue from a kill shelter in Houston. On her way to Arkansas after being rescued, she came down with Parvo and was hospitalized for several weeks. She was a fighter and overcame her illness before she was adopted in 2014. Her ordeal left her with a zest for life and chasing balls. Her orange mini Kong ball is her absolute favorite and she will chase it until she collapses in exhaustion. She’s ever so thankful that she was rescued and shows it every day with her generous affection and willingness to please. Tia also has a strong gift of empathy and is able to sense when someone is in pain. She identifies the area of pain and places her little body there. Her soothing warmth and weight have been felt by several members of her family who are forever grateful for her loving gifts.
